Yes, nothing but YOU on a very freezing windy day. I’m not a coffee addict but I’ve found myself indulge in it since I started working. Working on late nights and even up to morning is indeed stress. For those who had work during graveyard shifts, think again – you know what I mean. It was becoming more of a routine for me to drink from one to three cups a day. Though this was seldom to happen, coffee made its way to my life.

And now, it’s all I have under the cold weather. Mind you, I am roughly about a third of a mile home right now and I am just taking my time at Starbucks and gauging for the best time to walk back home. Las Vegas, known to be a desert, is mostly cold in a year. Science and geography explains it. And this warm vanilla latte is perfect to soothes me perfectly.

I know, I should have a book with me and its all but a perfect silent and soothing experience. My brother and I just dropped by from inquiring from a firm just a few doors away.No second thoughts, for coffee is what we need!

Mind you, benefits of coffee are way out of our imagination. It does contain caffeine but with proper knowledge of what too much is will surely guarantee you beneficial health implications as part of a healthy diet and physically active lifestyle.

1. Coffee maintains day-time alertness levels during the night or even reducing tiredness following a night without sleep. (This is very applicable to college students who have a pile of books to read or duties to attend to!)

2. Coffee helps improve driving performance at night and decreases the onset of sleepiness. (Most people here drive, one cup of coffee can save you from a possible wreck.)

3.Coffee helps restore normal alertness level when suffering from a cold. (The weather would not always be perfect. Most people get sick as weather changes from time to time. Save yourself from that sickening feeling and grant yourself a cup of aroma therapy.)

4. Coffee reduces the post-lunch dip in alertness.

5. Coffee helps maintain sustained attention over long working sessions. (Yes, the working population mostly have so much things to do and with so little time. This is practically what you need to seize through the day.)

Wow, I guess I need not say more.

Coffee is one of life’s pleasures. I’m back with my coffee-loving-self and that’s the way it is for now. Got to head home now.
