Our Flight to Korea

5 Oct
2009

All our bags are packed indeed. Days ago. After surviving the typhoon Ondoy, (and hopefully surviving another typhoon that’s closing in the Philippines) we could now partly breathe. Emotions are flooding me! A few hours from now we would be departing. And a few hours from now, I’m like five thousand miles away.

So here we are all ready. We were like 6 hours ahead just some safety precautions because the weather is unstable right now – we might get stuck in traffic, or worse, stuck in flood.

Now waiting for our time to board the plane. Here are the tickets. We have to wait for like almost an hour here…

Our flight is scheduled to stop over at Korea. So here we are, stuck at Korea! Picture moments for keepsakes!

But before we head on, we had to take some meals at Burger King. I find it weird that the Korean currency is somewhat “scary” at first. I only had about 100 bucks in my wallet and all I see are 3,000 and more! To my surprise, I should have researched this one:

1 US Dollar = 1,170.00 South-Korean Won as of October 5, 2009

So this is the entry to the plane from the boarding section. In a few moments, we will be sitting in for 11 hours. And just about time to see my dad…can’t wait!
